Based on the chi-squared distribution, it determines the required cumulative test duration; ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>MTTF Design<\/strong>\u00a0: demonstrate an MTTF value; ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Failure Time<\/strong>\u00a0: the test time required for k products to fail. This is a strong assumption: if your product wears out (\u03b2 &gt; 1), the plan is optimistic. The application explicitly points this out. Use it only under a random failure model, or when you are aware of the bias.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udca1 The usual lesson from these calculators is a harsh one: demonstrating high reliability with a high degree of confidence requires\u00a0<strong>a lot<\/strong>\u00a0in hours.
