Some combinations are incompatible, and the corresponding button is grayed out: \u00abFine-tune (nonlinear)\u00bb prevents the selection of \u00ab2 levels,\u00bb since curvature cannot be estimated based on just two points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each plan is assigned a colored card based on its status:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compatible<\/strong><\/td>orange<\/td>Usable, but only partially suitable based on at least one criterion.<\/td><\/tr>
Sidelined<\/strong><\/td>gray<\/td>Incompatible. The record displays the ground for exclusion<\/strong>.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The fact sheet provides a description of the plan and its\u00a0benefits<\/strong>\u00a0and its\u00a0disadvantages<\/strong>\u00a0In two columns, there are attribute labels (levels, test ranges, accepted factor types); those that meet a criterion you have specified are highlighted in blue, and there is a \u00abGo to Page\u00bb button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udca1 Rejected entries remain displayed\u2014by design. The reason for exclusion is often more informative than the recommendation: \u00abRequires only two-level factors,\u00bb \u00abLimited to a maximum of 6 factors,\u00bb \u00abDoes not allow for expanding an existing design.\u00bb You can learn the scope of application for each family by reading why it is not suitable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
