Discover the program of our Pilot Project for the implementation of APC
The introduction of Automated Process Control (APC) in the mechanical engineering industry is revolutionizing the way we produce. At Ellistat, we support you in this transformation thanks to our approved methodology: a Pilot Project.
This approach gives you the opportunity to validate the benefits of APC on a machine in your workshop before committing to a full roll-out. APC training is provided for operators/setters and machining teams, to guide and support your teams through this change management process.

The Objectives

Experiment with closed loops
- Setting up the APC in your workshop (connection of measuring instruments and automatic control of MOCNs).
- Access technological innovations for the mechanical engineering industry.

Harness the power of Ellistat algorithms
- Test the APC directly on your production and check that the first part is good.
- Test the automatic delivery of correctors to the machine tool of your choice.
Our Methodology

Assessment
1 day on-site
Before implementing Automated Process Control (APC), it is essential to understand the production process as a whole.
ObjectivesAssess the feasibility of the APC project. The diagnosis therefore makes it possible to:
- Define the project team
- Analyze documentation and machining methods
- Analyze types of measuring instruments
- Prepare the machine connection
- Create a realistic project schedule
- Prepare Ellistat installation and connection of measuring instruments
- Prioritize steps and prepare the training plan
- APC Project Gantt Chart
- Completed Project Charter

Installation
off-site
To prepare for APC deployment in your workshops, our teams will prepare the APC environment and connect the machines with each other.
Objectives- Install the server remotely.
- Connect machines and perform send tests for the correctors.
- Connect measuring instrument and perform send tests.
- Installed server
- Machines connected to Ellistat
- Measurement equipment connected to Ellistat

Training
2 days on site
ObjectivesDeliverables
- Understand the concepts of Automated Process Control.
- Apply Automated Process Control concepts to a production machine.
- Set up complete production from a single part (even a complex one) with APC tools.
- Implement automated control processes.
- 1 fully configured part
- 1 functional closed-loop machine
- Autonomous team to configure new parts

Personalization
1 day on-site
To prepare for APC deployment in your workshops, our teams will prepare the APC environment and connect the machines with each other.
Objectives- Workshop tour: see the solution in production
- Review of the first few weeks and reminder of the application's configuration: answer questions, repeat various configurations
- Application customization
- Feedback on areas for improvement, deployment options
- Autonomous team
- Site-specific application

Feedback
1 day on-site
During this fifth day on site, the project is assessed. A comparison is made between the state at the start of the project and the current state. The Ellistat expert and the project team draw up a deployment plan for the remaining machine tools.
