Improving a company's performance requires decisions based on facts. But analyzing data is no simple task: you have to collect it, format it, choose the right statistical tool, and know how to interpret the results.
The module Data Analysis Ellistat is designed for this very purpose: to guide you in choosing the right analysis, not to leave you on your own with a spreadsheet.
This guide does not cover any specific analysis. It covers what precedes them all: how to access the module, how it's organized, where the data is stored, how it comes in and goes out, and how to find what we've produced. The other eight guides take over, one menu at a time.
Three ideas form the framework for the entire module, and it’s worth establishing them right from the start:
- the project is the work unit, and it is shared among colleagues; ;
- A project contains several grids data sets that are independent of one another; ;
- All the analyses show that the active grid of the project => you never reimport your data from one menu to another.
