Appendix: Vocabulary

  •  Project : The Data Analysis workspace. Contains saved tables, reports, and charts. Can be shared.
  • Public : a project visible to all users in the company.
  • Authorized Users : a list of the names of individuals who have access to a non-public project.
  • Label : Color-coded project classification marker, filterable.
  • Grid : a project data table. A project contains as many of these as needed, including the grid Default.
  • Active Grid : the one used by the analysis pages. Stored by the project.
  • Column / Attribute : a grid variable, including its name, tolerances, distribution, and settings. – Rehearsal : a column that distinguishes between different measures within the same piece.
  • Column panel : the right pane of the grid, which describes and configures the current column.
  • My graphics : a library of saved charts from a project, exportable to PowerPoint.
  •  .eli2 : Ellistat Desktop file format, which can be imported as a project.
  •  Export to Data Analysis : A command found on the dashboards of other modules that sends their data to a project.
