- Multivari : the effect of multiple Xs qualitative on a Y-axis. It immediately shows the effects of each factor and illustrates their interactions.
- Bob vs. Wow : compares the best cases (the best of the best) with the worst cases (the worst of the worst) to identify the factors that distinguish them. It is a quick method for identifying causes that does not require a design of experiments.
💡 To create a predictive model of Y based on several X variables, select the Machine Learning menu. The Charts menu described the effect of the factors; it does not build a model. To make predictions or perform optimization, use the Machine Learning menu—or a design of experiments if you can manipulate the factors.
